How it works Safety FAQ About Open chat

Safety

Anonymous chat is still a conversation with a stranger

Anonymuch does not verify who is on the other side of a text or video pair. A live camera does not make a person identified. It also does not mean the conversation is monitored in real time.

Age

Use is limited to people 18 years or older. If someone appears to be a minor, or asks you to involve a minor, end the session. Do not continue “to check.” There is no allowed exception for roleplay that includes children.

What not to send

Camera and video

Random video shows your face and surroundings to a stranger. Do not point a camera at documents, other people, or anything that identifies your address. You can leave a video pair the same way you leave a text pair. See random video chat.

Scams and money

Requests for payment, gift cards, “verification deposits,” investment tips, or moving the chat to a wallet app are outside the product. Leave. Anonymuch staff will not message you inside a stranger pair asking for money.

Pressure and harassment

You can leave without a reason. Sexual content involving anyone under 18 is forbidden. Repeated unwanted sexual talk, threats, or attempts to obtain private images are reasons to close the tab immediately. The terms list prohibited conduct.

Meeting in person

The service is a browser session. It is not an introduction service with identity checks. If you choose to meet anyone from the internet, that decision is outside Anonymuch and carries ordinary public-safety risk.

Technical limits of “anonymous”

Hiding a profile is not the same as being untraceable. Browsers, networks, and legal process still exist. Read privacy for what this site states. For product mechanics see how it works.
