What “random” means here
You are not choosing a username from a directory. You are paired with someone else who started chat. That is occupancy, not a recommendation score. Same definition as on random chat.
What the camera shows
A live picture of you and, usually, whatever is behind you. Treat that as visible to an unverified adult. Do not hold up IDs, mail, or screens with passwords. Safety notes: safety.
What it is not
- Not a group webinar or multi-person room
- Not a recorded show with an audience
- Not a way to look up the same person tomorrow
Anonymous still has limits
Hiding a handle does not mean the other person cannot remember a face, or that a network log cannot exist. “Anonymous” here means no account card inside the product. See anonymous chat and privacy.
